EU to Spend 732 Million Euro on Transport Projects in Armenia

The reconstruction of Artashat-Agarak road, as part of the North-South highway, is a priority for EU funding in Armenia, the indicative action plan for investment in Trans-European Transport Network co-authored by the European Commission and the World Bank, news.am informed.

The EU envisages to spend 450 million euro for this project. The total amount of investments in all projects in Armenia will be 732 million euro.

Among the priority projects implemented until 2030 are Yerevan-Vanadzor road (7.5 million euro), reconstruction of Gyumri-Bavra section of the Armenian-Georgian border of the North-South project (41 million euro), as well as the construction of the BCP in Meghri (14 million euro).
