The Special Investigative Service has permitted the entrepreneur Samvel Mairapetyan to leave the country, Mairapetyan’s advocate Karen Batikyan informed Radio Liberty.

Mairapetyan had applied to ECHR for obliging the authorities of Armenia to return his passport to be able to leave for Germany to get treatment in the medical institution chosen by him. The ECHR granted the January 2 application of the entrepreneur and demanded that the government of Armenia to enable the applicant to receive adequate medical assistance.
