We Must Fulfill Agreements of Vienna and Saint Petersburg: Artsakh Foreign Minister


The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh Masis Mayilyan and the OSCE CiO, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák discussed in a bilateral meeting the situation at the line of contact, Minister Mayilyan said on March 13, after the meeting with Lajčák, Armenpress informed.

“We underlined that after the meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Dushanbe there are no victims at the line of contact. However, we must fulfill the agreements reached in Vienna and Saint Petersburg. Bringing them into being will enhance regional security,” Mayilyan said.

The foreign minister of Artsakh said Miroslav Lajčák and he did not discuss the latest statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

“We did not discuss this specific statement but because there are different messages in this statement, different component, we reflected on them. This statement has not been considered in our conversation,” the minister said.

Masis Mayilyan said that the conflict with Azerbaijan is not a regional issue as Azerbaijan is trying to present it.
