We can now confidently say, that Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park has become one of the most favorite places for Yerevan residents and guests of the capital. Every day young and old rush to enjoy the beauty and coolness of the park. Besides the unique statues and cooling fountains, the green area of the park attracts people with its special trees and flower beds. The green area of the park is 7,500 sq.m. There are 369 trees of 70 species in the park. Taking into consideration the climate conditions of Armenia, 250 unique and exotic trees such as Fagus sylvatica ‘Purpurea Tricolor’, Hamamelis ‘Ruby Glow’, Magnolia acuminata, Oxydendrum arboreum, Stewartia pseudocamellia, Heptacodium miconioides, Pterostyrax hispida and others were carefully selected and imported for planting purposes in the park. The colorful flower beds stand out for their unique beauty. The park is surrounded from both sides by a fence of bushes of Ligustrum Vulgare species. Green areas are irrigated by an automated drip and sprinkler autonomous system. Irrigation is carried out only at night in order not to disturb visitors.
On the territory of the park there are 76 benches, 62 garbage cans and 126 lamp posts with original design. The largest number of tree species, benches, garbage cans and lamp posts per 1 sq.m. in Armenia can be found in Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park.
