Materials on Republican Membership of Chair of Constitutional Court Confiscated

The deputy president of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan has confirmed that the invstigators of the Special Investigative Service have visited the office of the Republican Party.

“Today the SIS investigator visited the RPA head office to confiscate materials relating to the suspension of Hrair Tovmasyan’s membership to the RPA,” A. Ashotyan told Pastinfo.

Earlier Pastinfo had informed that investigators showed up at the office of the Republican Party of Armenia and the Constitutional Court for investigative activities.

The SIS has not provided official information.

Earlier it had become known that Member of Parliament Arman Babajanyan reported breaches in the process of affirmation of Hrair Tovmasyan as judge of Constitutional Court to the Prosecutor General and the Special Investigative Service launched an investigation.
