On November 6, Ardshinbank hosted a meeting of its employees’ children with Karina Ignatyan, who represents Armenia at the International Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019. At the meeting, Karina talked about her journey into the world of music, shared her impressions of winning the qualifying round and answered numerous questions from the audience. The listeners were mostly interested in the following questions: Does Karina want to become a professional singer in the future, who is her favorite composer and singer, what does she like to draw most of all, is it difficult for her to combine her studies and performances on the stage and what qualities one must possess in order to become her friend?
A special moment of the meeting was the appeal to Karina of the 8-year-old girl Marie to urge all the children whom Karina would meet at the contest to fight for peace together. “I wrote a letter to all the children of the world and I ask you to pass it on to everyone you meet. I want to appeal to all children to fight for peace, to be friends and sing happy songs. May there be Peace in the whole world!” – said in the letter, which Marie՛s mother helped her to write.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board of Ardshinbank Artak Ananyan gave Karina a professional plein air as a present, wishing her a good journey and a successful performance.
“We are sure that you will do your best. Draw, sing and make happy both your parents and all of us!” – said A. Ananyan in his parting words.
Ardshinbank is the main partner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019. This year Armenia will be represented by the thirteen-year-old Karina Ignatyan with the song Colors Of Your Dream.
