Azerbaijan Attempted an Attack in Tavush Region, Injured Child and 2 Servicemen


The Ministry of Defense informed that on March 30 the Azerbaijani side attempted an attack at 7 pm in the direction of the Armenian positions in Tavush region. The enemy was pushed back, information about losses are being clarified. The Armenian side does not have losses, two servicemen got light injuries. At the same time, the enemy targeted the villages of Baghanis and Voskevan, injuring a 14-year-old child who was standing in the balcony of their house.

The child was injured in the chest, received first medical aid in Noyemberyan and was taken to Yerevan for further treatment. The child’s state is serious.

The Ministry of Defense stated that the Armed Forces will undertake adequate actions and the political military leadership of Azerbaijan will be responsible for the consequences.
