Judge Vahe Grigoryan of the Constitutional Court told reporters that the constitutional amendments adopted by the National Assembly resolved the crisis at the Constitutional Court.
“I welcome this step of the National Assembly. This is a brave and historic step. Historic because for the first time the National Assembly acts in the name of the constitutor, amends the constitution and dedicates the amendment to the Constitutional Court, thereby highlighting the importance of the Constitutional Court in the system of government agencies and looking at it as a primary crisis requiring a solution,” he said.
Grigoryan said that he will start taking part in the sessions. “At the moment there are already 6 judges. There is quorum to fulfill all the duties of the Constitutional Court.”
